Review Detail

The drama depicted truism in every sense demonstrating people's tendency to ruin the lives of those they despise. While the story line was exemplary, Roshni's role diminished her image. As an intellectual individual and a teacher by profession, she should have established diplomacy without displaying hatred towards her mother/brother in laws. In many incidences, she had been at fault; but Hassam's verbal/physical abuse towards her was sufficient reason for Roshni to end their marital ties. Humiliating his wife in front of his family had been unforgivable.

The roles played by the actor/actresses had been realistic. Roshni's father demonstrated unconditional love for his daughter while Azra begum's role as a mother had been exemplary - her anger, affection and decisions were well validated. Both Raheel and Zuneira are credited for making sound decisions. As a rule, Mumtaz begum (Naazlin Soomro) played her part tremendously well,but her role in Sangdil better suited her than her role in Roshni.

All casts played their role very well.
