Imran Ashraf began his acting career in 2011. He made his debut with the drama Wafa Kaisi Kahan Ka Ishq. Initially, he appeared in numerous supporting roles in dramas like Baandi and Gul e Rana. His roles in both dramas gained high recognition as people noticed his natural acting skills. However, his breakthrough came in 2016 with the drama Dil Lagi alongside Humayun Saeed.

He gained widespread acclaim through the drama Ranjha Ranjha Kurdi, in which he portrayed a mentally unstable Bhola. This role earned him worldwide recognition and marked his position as a leading actor in the industry. This role not only earned him critical acclaim but also won many awards.

In addition to this, Imran has also appeared in various dramas, like Inkaar, Kahin Deep Jalay, and Raqs e Bismal. His outstanding performance in the drama Raqs e Bismal solidified his position in the industry.

Imran Ashraf also appeared in telefilms like Parda, Hum Tum, and Pyar Ke Naghme. He also worked as a writer and produced hit serials like Tabeer and Mushq, which were well-received.
