Ingredients

1 cup Maash ki daal
½ cup Moong ki daal ka ata
1 tsp Salt
¼ tsp Soda by carb
1 packet Bondi soaked in water
1 kg Yogurt (whipped)
½ cup Cream
3 to 4 tbsp Caster sugar
1 cup Tamarind chatni
1 cup Cabbage sliced
1 sliced Onion
1 cup Papadi crushed
Oil for fry
For Tamarind Chatni
1 cup Tamarind pulp
2 tbsp Brown sugar
½ tsp Dried ginger heaped
1 tsp Cumin roasted and crushed
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Crushed red pepper
Pinch of red color

Preparation

  1. Mix together caster sugar, cream and pinch of salt, yogurt, keep aside.
  2. Put both the flour in the bowl, add in salt, soda by carb, mix well with water, beat very well.
  3. Heat oil and fry flat dahi waday made with hands, then remove and soak in warm water.
  4. Remove from the water then press and squeeze all water.
  5. Cook altogether chutni ingredients until thick.
  6. Spread daahi waday in a the platter, then soaked bondi, spread with whipped yogurt mixture then top with Papdi, sliced cabbage and onion, lastly sprinkle chaat masala and then tamarind chatney.
