"I’ll be biting my fingers till I go to the Rashtrapati Bhavan" – Priyanka Chopra
Jan 25th
I can recall my London days today. After the screening of Fashion, I immediately called Madhur Bhandarkar and asked him to connect me to Priyanka Chopra. It was around 9 pm when I got a call from Madhur, and a voice from the other end of the receiver said, “Hello Devansh. Hope you liked the film.” My answer, “There is some magic, either in Priyanka or in the ramp. The ramp gets you the Miss World crown and the same ramp gets you the best ever role you’ve played ever since you’ve made your debut. What a coincidence! Today I More >

Salman Khan assisted art director on sets of Veer
Jan 7th
Salman Khan is not supposed to be a particularly hands-on technician on the sets of his movies. Most of the time you’d find him giving his shot and moving to a corner with his cronies. But in Veer, Salman not only got down from his high horse, he even assisted the art director Sanjay Dabade (who had earlier done the art direction of Anil Sharma’s Gadar: Ek Prem Kahani) and the construction workers in setting up the props, temporary buildings and architecture in London to denote the 19th century period. This happened on more than one occasion when the natural More >

Was Asin’s role in London Dreams chopped off?
Nov 9th
Asin said no to Priyadarshan’s De Dana Dan opposite Akshay Kumar because of the length of her role. Katrina happily bagged the role arguing she wanted to be part of the film because of her pairing with Akshay…and to be part of the lavish laughathon which promises to be one of the biggest hits of the year. Asin, on the other hand, chose to do London Dreams where it so turns out that her role is not that substantial after all (to put it mildly). There is shock and disbelief about the length and scope of Asin’s role in London More >

"Ajay, Salman had no time to publicize London Dreams" – Vipul Shah
Nov 5th
Prakash Jha has a lot to be answerable for. If Ajay Devgn was unable to give time for publicity of London Dreams, it’s because the dates that Ajay had allotted to promote London Dreams were used to shoot the climax of Jha’s Rajneeti in Bhopal. “We knew we didn’t have the stars until the 20th of October. Unfortunately there was a big problem with the climax of Rajneeti,” Vipul admits. Frantic with worry when Ajay couldn’t show up for the London Dreams publicity as promised, Vipul rang up Prakash. “I had a long conversation. Prakash explained the crisis he was More >
