Fashion designer Rohit Bal suffers heart attack

Well-known fashion designer Rohit Bal suffered a heart attack yesterday. The designer has since been admitted to Medanta Medicity in Gurgaon. Bal, 42, suffered an attack at his Defence Colony residence and he was soon rushed to the hospital. Apart from designing for many Bollywood celebrities, Bal also has international clients like Uma Thurman, Cindy Crawford, Pamela Anderson, Naomi Campbell and Anna Kournikova to name a few. SRK cancels deal with Lux Cozy

After the farce revolving around his film My Name Is Khan, it was the actor’s endorsements that caught the lime light. Not too long ago, Shah Rukh was signed on as the brand ambassador for well known innerwear brand Lux Cozy. What’s more his IPL team – the KKR, were also supposed to promote the brand on field as their uniforms would carry their logo. Hema Malini rushes to Goa to capture carnival, then travels economy class to Bihar

It’s been a hectic time for Hema Malini. She’s been producing a film for her daughter Esha under impossible weather conditions and back-breaking schedules in different parts of the world. Last week she had to rush with her cast and crew to Goa to shoot the carnival there. Said Hema, “The Goa shoot was not supposed to happen now. But we needed to shoot the carnival which was held from February 13-16. So we preponed the schedule that was to happen later in the year and rushed to Goa last week. Vatsal Sheth breaks into ‘Ruk Ruk Ruk’ from Vijaypath for Tabu

Vatsal Sheth who plays Tabu’s co-star in Toh Baat Pakki had the time of his life while shooting for the film. Tabu playing an older sisterly role took the two guys, especially Vatsal under her wings, and looked after them on location. She regularly gave tips to Vatsal on how to handle his scenes. Actor Nirmal Pandey passes away

Actor Nirmal Pandey passed away today afternoon. Nirmal, a graduate from the National School of Drama, is known for his performances in films like Bandit Queen, Iss Raat Ki Subah Nahin, Godmother and Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya amongst many others. His next release is Lahore which comes out next month. Pandey, reportedly, suffered a major heart attack which caused his unfortunate demise.
